Dermalinfusion Microdermabrasion for Face Mask Acne

Our skilled Medical Assistant Amy will gently apply the diamond tip – which is about an inch wide – across your face for about 20 minutes. In addition to exfoliating dead skin cells, this rubs off any dirt, debris or oil. The treatment does not hurt at all – and is described by patients as rather relaxing! So, in addition to getting clearer skin, you are able to take some time for a little pampering in our luxurious med spa.
#2. Vacuum Extraction for Face Mask Acne
Acne breakouts are caused by oil, dead cells and dirt that plug the hair follicles (pores). This traps bacteria, causing an infection that triggers inflammation and pus, and erupts into unsightly pimples.
Simultaneously performed with the exfoliation, the Dermalinfusion tip exerts a low-pressure vacuum that sucks up the exfoliated dead skin cells, and extracts any sebum (oil), other “gunk” and bacteria that are clogging the pores.
#3. Serum Infusion for Face Mask Acne
At the same time, Dermalinfusion’s pressurized handpiece applies specially selected acne-fighting, skin-nourishing serums deep into the pores. Each Dermalinfusion serum is specially formulated with ingredients to treat the patient’s unique skin problems.
For treating face mask acne a special Pore Clarifying Pro-Infusion Serum is typically used, containing clinical-strength salicylic acid and other nutritive ingredients. Salicylic acid not only kills the specific bacteria that cause acne (Propionibacterium acnes or P. acnes), it also reduces the production of skin oil. This means Dermalinfusion helps prevent future acne breakouts, in addition to clearing up current pimples.
